What Lucyd gives you (without you asking)

Everything in this list is already live on this site or in our partner system. You don’t need to ask permission.

Video assets

  • resources.lucyd.co/videos/ — 37 videos across 7 collections
  • Hero ads, lifestyle clips, 3D animations, 5-second feature shorts
  • Aspect ratios: 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (vertical / TikTok / Reels), 1:1 (square), 4:5 (Instagram feed)
  • Each one is downloadable. Pull them into your own social, in-store TV, or website.

Product images + approved copy

  • resources.lucyd.co/products/ — every SKU with brand-approved marketplace copy, bullets, USPs, packaging dimensions, barcodes
  • Use this copy on your e-commerce listings — it’s pre-approved and won’t get flagged by any marketplace policy team
  • Click-to-copy on every field

Brand catalogs + price lists

  • Reebok Spring 2026, Armor, Lucyd Smart Eyewear — all catalogs at resources.lucyd.co
  • US / Europe / Canada price lists
  • Use these in proposals to building managers, gym owners, corporate buyers

The tutorial videos themselves

The two videos at the top of Module 2 (Reebok and Armor) are the same ones that work on YouTube, on your social, and on a store TV. They’re the most multipurpose asset in this kit.

In-store TV usage:

  • Loop them silent, with subtitles on (each is available in EN, ES, FR)
  • They sell while you fit frames at the next chair
  • Subtitle file is on the same R2 path — ask wholesale@ for the .srt

Co-marketing program (ask once, get a lot)

For partner stores doing >$5K/quarter in Lucyd, the co-marketing program offers:

  • Branded display materials — countertop signage, demo unit holders, lens stickers
  • Co-branded social posts — Lucyd will produce a custom post featuring your store
  • CE / staff training events — Lucyd team comes to your shop, hosts a session for buying-group members
  • Local search & GMB co-listing — get listed as an authorized Lucyd dealer in your area on lucyd.co/find-a-store

How to get in:

  • Email wholesale@lucyd.co with subject “Co-marketing inquiry — [your store name]”
  • Or DM Jim Bruce on the wholesale Slack channel
  • Approval is fast (usually same week)

Social media — the rules of engagement

If your store wants to post about Lucyd:

Do

  • Tag @lucyd.eyewear on Instagram and TikTok — we re-share strong partner content to ~50K followers
  • Use any video from the video library directly
  • Feature real customers with their permission
  • Use the hashtag #lucydeyewear for searchability

Don’t

  • Post unflattering competitor comparison content (it backfires + we don’t authorize it)
  • Claim specs we don’t make (we’ll have to ask you to take it down)
  • Post pricing that contradicts the current MSRP/MAP — check the current price list

Templates

Three post types that consistently perform for partner stores:

  1. “New arrival” carousel — 3-image post of the frame, in-store, on a model. Use product images from resources.lucyd.co/products/.
  2. “Demo Tuesday” reel — 15-second vertical of a real customer doing the 4-step demo from Module 3. Get their permission. Tag us.
  3. “Customer story” post — 1 image + 100-word caption. The customer who said something specific (commuter, parent, athlete) that you remember. No tagging the customer’s name.

UGC — the right way

User-generated content is gold. The honest framework:

  • Always ask permission before posting a real customer’s photo or video
  • Get it in writing — a screenshot of them texting “yes, you can use it” is enough
  • Credit them📷 @customer.handle in the caption
  • Don’t repost things that show them in a compromising context (medical, religious, sensitive venues)

If you collect great UGC, send it to wholesale@lucyd.co with the customer’s permission. We may license it for Lucyd’s own channels (and credit you + the customer).


Trade shows + buying-group events

If you’re attending:

  • Vision Expo East / West — Lucyd has a booth, often with partner-store demo opportunities
  • CECOP USA Spring Meeting — Lucyd is a vendor partner
  • PECAA / Vision Source national events — Lucyd presents at education tracks

If your store is the host or co-host of a local optical event:

  • Email wholesale@lucyd.co 30 days out
  • We can ship a demo kit (3-5 units in different styles + display + signage)
  • For meaningful events, Jim Bruce or another wholesale rep can attend in person

When to ping Jim

Jim Bruce runs the wholesale relationships. Reach him when you need:

  • A custom co-marketing post or asset
  • Bulk pricing on an order >25 units
  • A demo kit shipped to a local event
  • A partner-store mention in Lucyd’s newsletter
  • Anything time-sensitive that wholesale@ hasn’t responded to in 24 business hours

Slack DM is fastest. Email is fine for less urgent stuff.
